National Fire Safety Day

National Fire Safety Day
Posted on 10/27/2020
October 6th was National Fire Safety Day.  Each year there are over 300,000 house fires.  National Fire Safety Day is a day set aside to learn about fire safety and what each of use should do in case of emergency.  Last year after learning the fire safety lesson, a first grade student from an Akron Public School was able to stay alive because she used the lessons she learned.  This year, her teacher Barb Fisher, an Akron Public School teacher is taught the whole country during a live broadcast.  If you weren't able to watch it live, you can click here to see a Fire Safety Lesson and share with your whole family. It may save a life!
